34 weeks

Just realized I forgot to post this last week! I will post 35 weeks tomorrow. :)

How big is the baby-  he weighs about 4 3/4 pounds. He is the size of a cantaloupe! And he is almost 18 inches long. We have finally reached the "safe zone." Babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies. So I feel good!

Weight gain? As of last Monday, I have gained 22 pounds. My tummy measured exactly where it supposed to be... so he is growing!!

Stretch Marks? None that i can see. But my belly is so big, I can only see the top side. I have no idea how preggo women shave their legs at this point.

Maternity Clothes? I officially need maternity clothes. I have about 5 dresses that I am rotating between right now. I hate to spend money on maternity clothes with only a few weeks to go!

Sleep? I feel pretty uncomfortable for the most part. I have a hard time getting settled into bed and tend to toss and turn until I finally find a suitable spot. But I still sleep through the night. And I sleep in. And I take naps. I need as much sleep as I can get right now because in a few weeks I am going to be sleep deprived! And I pretty much feel exhausted all day every day!

Best Moment of the Week? I had a healthy checkup with the doctor on Monday! I met with one of the other doctors in the practice. His name is Dr. Pereyo and I really liked him! Erik had the day off work so he was able to join me. We also had great news yesterday. Erik was cast for a Delta commercial. So he is heading to Atlanta to film on an airplane tomorrow. I will miss him but we are both excited he was able to take this fun opportunity. And we picked out a new crib and dresser!!! Man, this was a good week!

Food Cravings? Chocolate milk. Love it! And the Publix brand is the best!

Name? Still Harper!

Movement? Still moving a lot. More at night than during the day. He is a night owl like me!

What I Miss? Walking properly. I feel like I waddle. And I miss my cute clothes. And Sangria.

  5. With my son, I had gained 26 pounds when I went in the hospital to have him. And my belly was safe from stretch marks. This time, wow, my belly is growing like crazy! I am 32 weeks and I have gained 24 pounds thus far and the baby packs it on at the end. Pretty sure I am going to beat my past record haha! And shaving, haha, I know exactly what you mean, and was thinking that in the shower this morning actually! :) Sounds like you are doing great!
