Southern Tide Skipjack Polo giveaway

It is official; my husband has a Southern Tide obsession. Our closet is a school of skipjacks. His obsession started a few years ago and now he refuses to wear any other type of polo. He loves the fit of the Skipjack polo and he loves how they still look fantastic after several washes. Not to mention; Southern Tide has a superior fit, classic design and he thinks they are the most comfortable polo on the market.

Here are a few photos of Erik sporting his favorite shirts:

I think a Skipjack polo is a perfect Father's Day gift and graduation gift! I am thrilled to announce that Southern Tide is sponsoring a giveaway on Fried Pink Tomato! One lucky winner will be the proud new owner of a Skipjack polo (classic or tailored fit).

Prices Get the Boot!

I am a sucker for a bargain. And now that I am trying to figure out ways to stay home with my little guy as long as possible I am going to have to be really careful and smart with my spending. I thought I would share some of the good deals I find on the blog every week.

Today's deal is at Target. I love, love, love Target. And every fall I find the CUTEST boots there! Right now you can buy and adorable pair of rain boots and get a cute liner for free. The liner is normally $9.99 so it is a great deal. The liners come in pink, black, grey, and ivory. You can check them out HERE!

And Target has 108 types of rain boots to choose from! Check them out HERE! They have really cute plaid, madras, and even whale rain boots! Plus you can get free shipping with a qualifying order over $50! You can't beat that. Most of the rain boots are $24.99. How great do these black boots look with the pink liner? The price beats a pair of Hunter boots any day!

Here are the exact details from the website:

Free Pair of Women’s Rain Boot Liners With Purchase of a Pair of Women’s Rain Boots Through October 23, 2010

Offer available online only. Purchase a select pair of women’s rain boots and get a pair of rain boot liners free. You must add both items to your cart. Discount will be applied at Checkout. Offer good while supplies last. Not valid on previous orders. Free gift will be sent to the same address as the qualifying item(s) and may ship separately. Free gift and qualifying item(s) are returnable by mail only. If qualifying item(s) is returned, refund value will be reduced by the prorated amount of the free gift. Offer expires October 23, 2010.

And I had to share these with you all. They are super cute and are on the Target website too!! Mama's got a brand new pair of shoes. And they won't get ruined when they're under wraps with Shuella shoe umbrellas. The easy–to–carry and even easier–to–wear galoshes slip over kicks to keep them safe and sound. Cute right?! These are a little more expensive, $44.99 but I think they are great.

To Nip or not to nip!?

I always assumed we wore bras for support and to conceal the "nip." Or in some cases to add a little perk to our bust. Awhile back, I went into a Victoria's Secret and the saleslady asked if I had tried on the Miraculous Bra. She immediately grabbed one in my size and told me to try it on, and that I would be amazed. And whoa was I ever! Dolly Parton didn't have a thing on me with that sucker on. But honestly, it was too much. Too much cleavage! This bra is actually designed to up the “gals” two cup sizes. TWO! Now that is serious.

Miraculous Bra
Then I saw this, a Victoria Secret Miraculous bra made with nipples!?!? Who would have thought we would see the day when nipping was the in thing to do? Ha!

I am trying to think about a time where this would be appropriate or even necessary? I think it is a great option for some women who have had a mastectomy, that extra feature might really make someone else feel more feminine. But besides that, I am having a hard time... Would any of you ladies want a nipple bra? If so, what would you wear it with?

Apparently in the 1970's the nipple bra was in. It was made to give women the look that they were not wearing a bra when in fact they had one on. Here is an ad from the 70's. It says, "The look is so provocative, no one would believe you're actually wearing a bra yet you get all of the support you want. Our exclusive braless-look-bra is the very first bra to have its own built in nipple. Imagine having that sensual cold weather look all the time. It's so sexy, it'll give your shape a whole new eye-opening dimension." HILARIOUS.

So what do you think? Should the nipple bra make a fashion comeback? Or is this a giant FAIL!?
