Fender when he was itty bitty! 

I am obsessed with my pup. I think he is the most beautiful and intelligent dog in the Universe. He has been such a blessing in our lives and he more like a child than a dog. I have taught him a few tricks and I think he is a genius. Then I saw this video and realized we still have a little work to do:

Hope you loved this video as much as I did. I am really really really impressed with the dogs dancing skills. The dog can dance better than me! Isn't he adorable? And he looks like he is smiling throughout the entire dance. I wonder how long it took the man to train him. Right now I am working on "roll over" with Fender. Maybe I should take it up a notch! haha. I will start working with him on The Dougie Dance! ;)

I Love My Men!

I will admit, I am slightly obsessed with my dog. I just think every little thing he does is so cute. And he takes care of me. If a stranger (i.e. the UPS man) comes to the door, he barks and stands long ways in front of me to protect me. When I am sick, he stays next to me in bed all day. When I went through my week of baby sickness... he licked my toes while I kissed the porcelain god. He follows me around like a shadow. And he even cries... literally... any time I have to leave my house. This actually breaks my heart. As soon as I lock the door, he starts howling... it kind of sounds like a person weeping, then he starts whining and he runs to the guest bedroom, jumps on the bed and peeks out the window at me as I drive away. It makes me feel horrible! Sometimes I  change my plans just so I can stay with him longer.

Every morning I take him out back and we play with the hose. He chases it and barks at it. It is hysterical. He tries to bite the water and does 360's in the air. A few days ago Erik took him out back to play with the hose and I took some photos. I thought yall would like to see the craziness.

Puppy Workout Plan!

My hubby loves the P90X workout plan. I have a riot every time I watch him attempt to do his workout when our pup, Fender, is around. Fender tries to workout with his daddy! And it is hysterical.

Fender Bender Huffman

Erik and I have the most precious pup. His name is Fender (after Erik's bass guitar.) And he is a Mini Australian Shepherd. Australian Shepherds have several different marking patterns and Fender is considered a Red Merle. 

He is the man. Fender is very lovable and enjoys playing all day long. He will actually run laps around the backyard for hours. He is EXTREMELY smart, loving, affectionate, and fun. We have had a great time teaching him tricks and watching him grow over the past few months.  Here are some photos of Fender as he has matured over the last six months. My little guy is growing up so fast!
