I need your help!! I want to find a really cute take home outfit for Mr. Harper. I was thinking a gown. But I am not really sure if it would work well for the ride home. What do you all think? Do you know of any cute baby clothing websites? Should I go with an actual outfit or do you think the gowns are a better idea? I appreciate any suggestions!
I found a few cute ideas on Hiccups Children's Boutique website. Do you all like any of these?
Gowns
Cute outfits:
I wouldn't take him home in a gown. They don't work well in a car seat. I don't have any suggestions, but I thoughts I would throw out my 2 cents.

LOVE the gowns! Might be a little tough to put him in the carseat with it on, but would be adorable in pictures :) Anything smocked will be adorable anyways, haha! Congrats and wishing you a great remainder of your pregnancy!
ReplyDeleteI brought home my son in the most adorable gap outfit with a matching beanie. So adorable. In fact, I still have it.
ReplyDeleteThe gowns are a little hard for car seat buckling purposes. Plus, they remind me of a baptism. Just my opinion.
Let us know what you decide. Anything will be adorable and special.
My fave is the blue monogrammed suit! SO CUTE!!! I'm in agreement with everyone who says that gowns and carseats don't mix!
ReplyDeleteI would go with an outfit because it will be easier for the ride home. They are all adorable. Baby W wore the second to last one to church on Sunday...so cute! I like the second "outfit" the best... that's my pic! :)
ReplyDeleteHope you don't mind an uncle's suggestion. =)I suggest an outfit as far as functionality are concerned. I'm partial to the blue one with the sheep and the last one with the sailboats. =)
ReplyDeleteFor the ride home, I'd suggest an outfit. It's easier with the car seat. That being said, my minnies LIVED in gowns for the first few weeks of their lives. They looked oh so adorable when people came to visit them, not to mention how easy it was to change their diapers and not have to snap things all over the place.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the last days of your pregnancy!
xoxo
i definitely agree with all the ladies above about the inconvenience of the car seat. i would say go with an outfit that isn't itchy and does not have any polyester. newborns normally have sensitive skin to begin with so probably a petite marinière coverall with a hat/shoes/anti-scratch mitts that compliment the outfit??? there's a baby boutique called Petit Bateau in boston i'm in love with because everything is so comfy and soft. i'll have to see if they have anything you would like... ;) hope you and erik are having a blast counting down for the big day!!! talk soon!!! x
ReplyDeleteI vote that little sailboat outfit that is pictured last! So cute!
