I Can No Longer See My Toes!

As you can see, my belly is finally HUGE!! Harper decided to finally grace us with his presence. I definitely get worn out these days!

 Here is my week 27/28 update:

How far along? 27/28 weeks

How big is the baby? A quarter pound. Which is weird to think about. I think of a quarter pounder with cheese.... he is about 15 inches long at this point. 

Weight gain? Yes mam! My belly is huge. I can't see my toes! 

Stretch Marks? Not yet!! I started using the most amazing shea butter! I will tell you all about it later this week. 

Maternity Clothes? Still wearing poofy dresses. I went and got my dress for the shower. I was going to get a loose one but then I realized my friends probably want to see the belly. So the dress I picked is a little tighter so my belly shows. It is lilly size 4 but it is one of the loose ones. So maybe I can still wear it after the pregnancy! 

Sleep? I sleep great but I am sleepy more often now. I like naps and this sun wears me out so I nap often! 

Best Moment of the Week? Having a fantastic 4th of July with my friends and family.

Food Cravings? If they are carbs, I will eat them. Seriously. I actually eat every carb off of my plate first, then I eat the meat, then veggies. I also stop at every shaved ice stand I see. No joke. And I am still eating at Rita's Italian Ice on a normal basis. They should have a pregnant woman frequency card. Last time I was there, the two other ladies in line were preggo too! 

Name? Harper Michael Huffman!! I already got a few things with "Harper" on them. So it is sticking! Completely official. 

Movement? O yes! All of the time. Sometimes his kicks are so strong I jump up because I get startled. I think he really wants out. 

What I Miss? Wake boarding. I watched all of the kids wake boarding and tubing this weekend. Kind of depressing. But little Harper went on his first jet ski ride. (VERY slow ride of course!)

His little eyes have eye lashes now! And I am at the start of my third trimester! YIPPY! This is when I will really put on the pounds. (I should gain about 11pds) 

What I am Looking Forward to? My first baby shower is on Sunday! I am so excited. 

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend!! I had a great 4th! My dad's birthday is actually July 4th so we get to celebrate his birthday and our nation's independence. Almost every year we celebrate at Lake Bowen and this year was no different. It was a perfect day to get a little sun and soak in the lake. I even took Harper on his first jet ski ride. Don't worry, we were going very slow and it was more of a lake tour than actual ski ride... but it was still a blast. We had a wonderful time with our friends and family.
